Artist - Giunta born in Montreal Canada in 1911, studied at the Montreal School of Fine Arts. His career spanned over 70 years. In his early period from 1930 to 1960 he created portraits, still lifes and landscapes. His later works were more abstract in nature. This work dates from his earlier period.

Meierhans, b. - 1890 in Switzerland, came to the United States in 1917, eventually settling in Bucks County. He studied under A.N.Lindenmuth and J. Sloan.
