Raphael Sabatini, 1898 – 1985, Philadelphia, Pa.

Professional life – Professor of Painting and Sculpture at the Tyler School of Art at Temple University from 1936 to 1966

President of the Philadelphia Art Alliance in Philadelphia.

Sabatini studied at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts with Arthur Carles, Fernand Leger, Antoine Bourdelle and Constantin Brancusi. He also had a Cresson Traveling Scholarship.

Exhibition venues included the Pennsylvania Academy and the Society of Independent Artists.
